Diwali Festival Celebration

PTV EMS PRISEC celebrates Diwali festival in a novel way…..The PTA representatives took the initiative and conducted the activities very enthusistically along with other parent-volunteers , teachers and our loving Kakas. The children made and decorated paper lamps and paper- cup lanterns under the guidance of the parents and teachers.
We also planned a ‘ Sahabhojan'(सहभोजन) for which students were told to bring पुरी- भाजी & शीरा in their tiffins. They sat together in a ‘पंगत’ in the school hall. There were story sessions by teachers during the Sahabhojan after which students were explained about the 7 steps of hand-washing. The parents showed great interest in planning and executing this wonderful activity for the kids before they left for the holidays.I am sure they all have carried home wonderful memories …
