National Science Day celebrated by PTV English Medium School Primary Section

*There is no science without experiments* and in what better way can children too develop their interest towards science ! PTVEMS primary section knew the right way to celebrate *National Science Day* on 28th February,2023.

The celebrations began with Ms. Sweni Barbose ,class tr of I-D delivering a speech on the significance of the day and also why is it celebrated. A student from std III dressed up as C.V. Raman (India’s first scientist) visited each and every classroom wherein he in a few words told the students about the contributions of C.V. Raman. Benjamin Franklin has rightly said that *Tell me and I forget.Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn* this is how all the students from std 1st to 4th learnt more about science by practically handling the apparatus used for the experiments which were explained and shown to the students. Our students were in awe knowing the results of the experiments and definitely more curious about *Science* and how much it has to offer to us.
