77th Independence Day was celebrated with great pomp and grandeur at PTVEMS Primary Section
ए मेरे वतन के लोगों ,
जरा आँख में भर लो पानी ।
जो शहीद हुए है उनकी ,
जरा याद करो कुर्बानी।
This 77th Independence Day was celebrated with great pomp and grandeur at PTVEMS Primary Section today .
The programme began with prayers followed by the Flag Salutation command given by our PT teacher Mrs Agnes Shastri before the National Anthem and the State song .
Our headmistress Kalpana Kalekar madam greeted the students for today’s occasion after which a speech emphasizing the significance of the day was delivered by Ms.Devangi Wadke -class teacher of II-A .
A melodious and soulful group song was sung by our musical champs from std 3rd and 4th which was directed by our Music teacher Mrs Monali Ambekar.
Miss Gargi Bhosale from IV-B expressed her views on today’s occasion by giving a small speech followed by which the prize winners of the Drawing competition conducted on 7th August,2023 on the occasion of Independence Day were announced .
Beautiful display boards along with the drawings of the prize winners were put up by our drawing teacher Mrs. Shilpa Jadhav .
Sweets were distributed amongst the children before they left for home with their hearts full of pride and love for their country.
