PTVEMS, Primary section had an OT session for the teachers to help them understand and inturn help students with various excercises for developing fine motor skills essential for improving handwriting throughout the stages of child development.

This session for the month of August was conducted on Friday 25 th August,2023 by Mrs Mugdha Wagh,the school’s occupational therapist between 11:30-12:15 pm.

Rock out with the band!

Resistance band exercise which are a great addition for improving handwriting skills .They come in a variety of resistance level.She introduced the exercise step wise core<And back- strength-finger-and letter formation.she also suggested the *wet-dry-try*technique for STD 1&2 with the help of slate&chalk.she demonstrated different techniques using rubber bands which can enable students to improve their motor skills.

The session was quite informative and helpful for all the teachers.The teachers had a great experience!!!
