Enthusiasm and Energy United on Annual Sports Day

Sports is the celebration of the human spirit and youth, it not only inspires young minds but also teaches good values and ethics to young students. PTVEMS – Primary Section, celebrated its annual sports day-2023-24, on 11th February 2024 ,amidst great enthusiasm and camaraderie. 

The chief guest invited to the event was Shri Ganesh Devrukhkar, The Dronacharya Awardee, 2023,an alumni of PTVMMS .He has received this India’s highest sports honour for coaches for the year 2023 as a coach of Mallakhamb. 

Hon. Vice President-PTVA, Shri Vinay Jog sir graced the event. Mrs. Kalpana Kalekar, Headmistress  PTVEMS – Primary Section, teaching, non-teaching staff, students and a large gathering of parents were present to witness the grand event.

Our Headmistress Mrs. Kalpana Kalekar greeted the guest with flowers and formal greetings. The event opened with a glorious and well-synchronized March Past that left parental viewers speechless and awed. The event had its grand opening with the hoisting of the School Flag by Hon. Vice President-PTVA, Shri Vinay Jog sir and request for declaration of the Meet Open by Mrs. Agnes Shastri, our PT teacher followed by the lighting of the lamp by the Chief Guest-Mr. Ganesh Devrukhkar and Shri Vinay Jog sir. 

There were vivid field displays by energetic Arm Sports participants,track events of the qualified finalists students. After the events the Chief Guest Mr. Ganesh Devrukhkar gave a wonderful speech. Parents, teaching and non-teaching staff also enthusiastically participated in the events held for them. The prize distribution came after all these events-medals, trophies, and certificates were awarded to the achievers of the various events. 

What we witnessed was surreal and it was a very memorable day for all the teachers, non-teaching staff and students who made the program very special.
