World Science Day Celebration
World Science Day was celebrated in the school hall today with great excitement and curiosity. The program began with a short introduction where the students were explained what science is and how it is present all around us in our daily lives. They also learned about who started World Science Day and the purpose behind celebrating it.
Next, children enjoyed an informative dance by Grade 4 students, where they presented a creative dance showing the life cycle of a butterfly.
After the performance, the teacher demonstrated four interesting science experiments: the colourful lava lamp, the refraction of light, the buzzing sound of a nut in a balloon, and the density of saltwater and normal water. The students were amazed and enjoyed watching how each experiment worked.
The program ended with an exciting quiz to check how much our young blooming scientists had learnt. It was fun, interactive, and inspiring day that encouraged children to explore, question, and love science.
