🌎 World Ozone Day 🌎Protect Ozone Layer, Protect Earth’s Future.

World Ozone Day is observed every year on 16th September to spread awareness about the importance of the ozone layer and the need to protect it. The ozone layer is a thin shield of gas in the Earth’s stratosphere that absorbs most of the harmful ultraviolet (UV) rays of the sun, thus protecting all forms of life on our planet. Without it, humans, animals, and plants would be at serious risk of diseases, skin cancer, and environmental damage.

Ozone Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm in our school to spread awareness about the importance of protecting the ozone layer. Mrs. Komal Yevle teacher delivered an inspiring speech highlighting the vital role of the ozone layer in safeguarding life on Earth and the urgent need to conserve it. The students of Std. IV also showcased their talent by preparing attractive and informative posters on the theme “Ozone today Oxygen tomorrow”, spreading the message through their art.

Finally, Shreyasi Deshpande (IV-A), Keyaan Jethwa (IV-B), Vedanshu Pawar (IV-B), Vihaan Ambre (IV-C), and Samata Vete (IV-D) engaged in a lively conversation on how to save the ozone layer and discussed practical precautions we can all take.

The celebration inspired everyone to take small but effective steps to protect the environment for a healthier and safer tomorrow.
