The Annual Day function of Parle Tilak Vidyalaya English Medium School (Primary Section), held on 20th December 2024, was an unforgettable evening filled with joy, pride and inspiration. The event was graced by our esteemed Chief Guest, Mr. Ayush Marathe, an accomplished alumnus of our school, and his mother, Mrs. Ranjana Marathe. Ayush, who is hearing impaired has overcome immense challenges to achieve remarkable success, making his journey an inspiration to all present.

The Headmistress, Mrs. Kalpana Kalekar, with immense pleasure, welcomed everyone to our Annual Day celebration. In her welcome speech, she acknowledged and celebrated the achievements, talents, and collective spirit of our school community.

Mrs. Marathe’s heartfelt speech was one of the highlights of the evening. She expressed profound gratitude towards the teachers who nurtured and groomed Ayush during his formative years. She praised the institution’s progressive vision and was visibly moved by the pride our teachers displayed in Ayush’s achievements. Her words were a testament to the enduring bond shared between the school and its students.

A unique and touching moment of the evening was the presentation of a beautifully painted portrait of Ayush by our talented art teacher Mrs. Shilpa Jadhav. This heartfelt gesture, appreciated deeply by Mrs. Marathe, symbolised the school’s commitment to recognising the contributions and journeys of its alumni.

The much-awaited prize distribution ceremony witnessed the felicitation of meritorious students by our esteemed Chief Guest. Their achievements were celebrated encouraging them to strive for excellence.

The event revolved around the theme ‘Occupations: Celebrating the Dignity of Every Job,’ aiming to instil respect for all professions in our students. The theme resonated throughout the program, blending education with entertainment. 

The meticulously planned dance performances captivated the audience. The variety in costumes, apt use of props and synchronised choreography highlighted the dedication and creativity of our teachers and students. Each performance celebrated the dignity and value of different occupations, bringing the theme to life on stage.

The evening was a grand success, thanks to the seamless coordination, teamwork and creativity of our teachers and students. The energy, enthusiasm, and effort displayed by our young performers left everyone spellbound.

The event not only celebrated the talents of our students but also reaffirmed the core values of our school—dedication, inclusivity, and respect for all.

The vote of thanks concluded the programme, expressing gratitude to all who contributed to the success of the Annual Day.
