Eco Bricks activity conducted by Team R Society R Responsibility (NGO)
“Well Done” is better than “Well Said” – proved, by Little Hearts of Parle Tilak Vidyalaya English School (Primary Section) on 10th Jan 23 through Eco Bricks activity conducted by Team R Society R Responsibility (NGO).
PLASTIC – MPL Multi Plastic Layer is a serious Global Concern polluting every corner of the EARTH.
At Parle Tilak Vidyalaya an interactive, fun loving awareness program on Plastic was conducted by Team RSRR (R Society R Responsibility) to make them understand sources of non biodegradable waste, the consequences and the R.R.R.R theory (Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle).
Say No to Plastic, Ban Plastic are repetitive words “said” “heard” but a wonderful Action on the R.R.R.R theory was shown by students of primary section 1 to 4 creating Eco Bricks.
From understanding the concept, collecting the plastic waste to creating the final product “Eco Bricks” was all Done by enthusiastic Generation Z. Their zeal definitely shows the effort and the responsibility they are making to Save the Environment to make this a better place. The Eco Bricks will be utilised by the students and also sent to recycling team for making multipurpose reusable items.
So the question is what’s in making an eco brick. Here is a small math.
1 Plastic Bottle + 25/30 Plastic (MPL) wrappers = 1 Eco Brick.
1 Eco Brick is made of total 26/31plastic waste (including the plastic bottle)
745 primary students = 26 plastic waste * 745 = 19,370
19,370 plastic waste stopped from polluting the environment and recycled.
Seeing this number the only words that come out is Well Done, isn’t it?
