Educational Field Trip to Byculla Zoo and Museum
An educational trip to Byculla Zoo and Museum was organised on Friday, 6th February 2026. The trip aimed to provide students with a fun learning experience beyond the classroom and to help them learn more about animals, birds, history, and nature.
At the zoo, students were excited to see many different animals such as the tiger, sloth bear, monkey, deer, and hippopotamus. They also gained insights into various aerial birds and observed aquatic animals like the tortoise and crocodile. The children were guided and informed about the habits and living conditions of these animals, which made the visit educational and interesting. Lunch was provided to the children at 12:00 noon, after which they refreshed themselves for the next activity.
Later, the students visited the museum, where they saw old coins, artefacts, and different types of wooden ships, helping them understand the rich history and heritage of our country. The Byculla Zoo also hosted a beautiful flower show, where different types of flowers were creatively arranged in shapes of butterflies and musical instruments such as the piano and guitar, which fascinated the children.
Overall, the trip was informative, enjoyable, and memorable. It helped students learn through observation, encouraged curiosity, and created wonderful memories for everyone.
