Gandhiji and Lal Bahadur Shastri Jayanti and The Swaccha Bharat Abhiyan – Clean India Green India

Parle Tilak Vidyalaya English Medium School, Primary Section celebrated the birth anniversaries of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri with great enthusiasm. The program highlighted their contributions and inspired students to follow their values of truth, simplicity, and service to the nation.

Students from Std. 4 dressed up as Gandhi (Dhanvin Prajapati) and Lal Bahadur Shastri (Yashil Prajapati), adding charm to the occasion. Std. 1 and 2 students actively participated by colouring pictures of both leaders, while Std. 3 students prepared beautiful posters on Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. Std. 4 students made creative Gandhi spectacles using chart paper.

Prizes were given to the winners of Story Telling Competition held on this occasion of Jayanti of two great leaders.

A rally was also carried out to spread the message of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, encouraging cleanliness and responsibility in society. To conclude the program, Mrs. Manashri Kashalkar, teacher, delivered a motivating speech on the life and principles of the two main pillars of India.

The celebration was meaningful and helped students learn the importance of cleanliness for our health and our Nation.
