Grandparents Day

PTVEMS Primary Section celebrated Grandparents’ Day on the 23rd and 24th of September, 2024, with great zeal and affection. The event was a heartwarming tribute to the love and guidance that grandparents bring to our lives.

The programme was expertly compered by  Ms.Amruta Lovekar and Mrs.Monali Ambekar music tr. Ms.Lovekar is a Project Coordinator, and Gerontologist with 20 years of experience working with older adults.

The event began with a melodious welcome song sung by our students and music tr. Monali Ambekar followed by captivating performances by the students and their grandparents. Participants showcased their talents through songs, dances, skits and poetry recitals.

Ms. Lovekar shared inspiring messages through stories, shayaris and poems promoting successful aging and a happy life.

Our Headmistress  Kalpana Kalekar presented a memento as a token of love to all the participating grandparents. 

We thank all the grandparents who joined us, making this day unforgettable for our students. We shall always cherish this occasion. We look forward to celebrating many more such events together!
