On September 6th, our school came alive with the spirit of Lord Krishna’s birth. It was a day filled with vibrant cultural performances, melodious bhajans and the joy of breaking the Dahi Handi.
The students were dressed up as Bal Krishnas and Radhas complete with flutes, peacock feathers and gopikas carrying the matkas.
The celebration comprised of Radha Krishna Aarti by our Headmistress Mrs. Kalpana Kalekar Ma’am,   Supervisor Mrs. Sunita Bhagwat Ma’am and all the other teachers.
The importance of this day was delivered by Mrs. Neha Jadhav,  class teacher of Std I/D Bhajans and songs dedicated to Lord Krishna were sung by Little Gopis and Gopikas of our school.
The glorious dance performances by our cute little ones  and our teachers  with non-stop rhythmic dance moves added a traditional touch to the entire celebrations when they danced to the beat of Janmashtami songs, filling the air with joy and festive spirit.
Another major attraction of the Janmashtami celebration was the *Dahi Handi* celebration, where the students formed human pyramid to reach and break the handi, symbolising Krishna’s love for butter. By this way our young talents enthusiastically attempted to break the Dahi Handi showcasing their zeal and unity.
The enthusiasm and devotion of our students, teachers and non-teaching staff made this Janmashtami celebration truly very special. May the blessings of Lord Krishna always guide us on our journey.
