We at Parle Tilak Vidyalaya English Medium School Primary section commemorated the 103rd Tilak Punyatithi on August 1, 2023, with reverence and gratitude. His vision for education was centered around holistic development, aiming to foster responsible citizens. This vision has been at the core of our educational practices for over 100 years.

The Honourable Secretary of PTVA, Shri Dilip Pethe Sir, garlanded the photo frame of Bal Gangadhar Tilak as all the staff and students paid homage to this great leader. Mrs. Komal Yevle, our Marathi teacher, gave an inspirational speech on Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak. Our Music teacher, Mrs. Monali Ambekar, sang an inspirational patriotic song.

A handwriting competition was held for the students of the Primary Section on July 23, 2023. The prize winners received their prizes from PTVA Secretary Shri Dilip Pethe Sir and our Headmistress Mrs. Kalpana Kalekar. Also present to congratulate the students were School coordinator Mrs. Janhavi Khandekar and Supervisor Mrs. Sunita Bhagwat.

PTVA’s newsletter, ‘Darpan,’ had organized an interschool Summer Drawing competition for the primary section students. The competition revolved around the theme of ‘My summer vacation experience.’ This competition received a huge response from our students. The prize winners received their prizes from the Honourable Secretary PTVA Shri Dilip Pethe Sir and the representative of PTVA’s newsletter, Madam Juilee Ballal.
