Martyrs’ Day

✨The blood of the martyrs is the seed of the nation ✨

The primary section of PTVEMS celebrated Martyrs’ Day on 30th January 2025 . 

The celebration began with a song tribute to martyrs’. Ms Soniya Bist delivered a speech on Martyrs’ Day.

Martyrs’ Day is observed on January 30th in memory of Mahatma Gandhi,who was assassinated in 1948.Gandhi was leading India’s struggle for independence through non- violent means .

Martyrs’ Day is a day of remembrance and honor for those who have sacrificed their lives for a particular cause, often in the context of a country’s independence or a fight for justice.

This day also involves ceremonies, moments of silence, the laying of wreaths,  speeches emphasizing the values of patriotism, unity, and sacrifice.
