National Education Day is celebrated on 11th November every year. This day is celebrated to mark the significance of education and highlight the importance given to education by our first Education Minister Maulana Abul Kalam Azad.

The celebration was simple yet memorable, where our Headmistress Kalpana Kalekar ma’am paid her homage to the photo frame of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad followed by which Ms.Devangi Wadke, class teacher of II-A delivered a speech emphasizing the importance of the day. She told the students about how and why the day is celebrated and concluded with a message for them. Children made various activities like Picture colouring, Collage making, Sketch, Poster making on account of Education Day. The activities were displayed in and out of their classrooms along with the display boards of the school to motivate and encourage their efforts.

Children also learnt about the theme of current year’s Education Day -Embracing Innovation and understood that if they are consistent with their efforts then they all can contribute towards making a much developed and innovative Nation.
