OCEAN EXHIBITION
Stall no. 4: Marine life of Oceans
It is very well said that “Nothing soothes the soul, like a day by the ocean” and PTVEMS Primary Section too made a sincere attempt in providing a soulful experience to the visitors by displaying the *Marine Life of the Pacific Ocean* (Animals) in their stall for the PTVA’s Annual exhibition. The theme for the Academic Year 2023-24 was ‘ *OCEAN* ‘.
The stall comprised of models of fishes like the Whale, Shark, Electric Sting Ray, Perch which are found in the Pacific Ocean. They were made in a way to resemble their actual size and structure in the sea. The highlight of the stall was the tail and fin movement of the WHALE fish which surprised the visitors.
Sound of the cries of the various fishes displayed also added to the effect of the stall which made it an audio-visual treat for the visitors. Informative charts and flex boards were put up giving an in-depth insight about the marine life along with twelve students from grade 3 and 4 who were appointed at the stall to share special facts about these fishes.
The models of the stall were prepared using paper pulp, keeping in mind the conscious thought of care and concern towards the environment, where the models after dismantling and discarding will be further recycled and reused in such projects in future.
