OT Sessions on Grip for teachers

Parle Tilak Vidyalaya English Medium School, Primary Section had an OT session for the teachers to help them understand and in turn help the students with their grip and how to hold their pencils while writing.

This session for the month of July was conducted on Friday 28th July 2023 by Mrs. Mugdha Wagh, the school’s occupational therapist.

She showed various crayons and tools appropriate for different age groups which can be helpful for the students to grip their pencils properly while writing.

She also suggested that using pencil grippers can be effective too. She  demonstrated different techniques using rubber bands which can enable the students to hold their pencils correctly while writing. 

The session was quite informative and helpful for all the teachers.
