Marathi our state language has its own essence and significance, this should reach out to our dear students in their tender age and they too should have love and respect for their language. This was the very aim of celebrating मराठी भाषा दिवस the birth anniversary of वि. वा. शिरवाडकर , known as कुसुमाग्रज (a marathi poet, playwright ) .

PTVEMS primary section celebrated this day on 27th February, 2023 in an unique manner with great pomp and vigour. Mrs. Smita Biwalkar, principal of PTVEMS secondary section was invited as the guest of honour for the celebration .The programme began with our Head Mistress Kalpana Kalekar ma’am garlanding the photo frame of कुसुमाग्रज followed by students performing a skit – ‘मराठी दिन की दीन’ written by our Chief Guest Mrs.Anvaya Kane a very talented teacher from the secondary section .

साहित्य प्रकार was another item in the sequence where the students were introduced to all the genres of Marathi literature. A melodious song – महाराष्ट्र भूमि,ही कर्म भूमि was sung by our students who were accompanied by our music teacher. The celebrations concluded with a procession ज्ञान यात्रा.
