PTVEMS Primary Section celebrated ‘Deep Puja’ on 2nd August ’24

शुभं करोति कल्याणं आरोग्यं धनसंपदा । शत्रुबुद्धि विनाशाय दीपज्योति नमोऽस्तु ते

PTVEMS Primary Section celebrated ‘Deep Puja’ on 2nd August ’24.

On this day, the ritualistic worship of the *lamp* or *deep* done.

 *Deep Puja* is done on the last day of Ashadh month and we also call it as ‘Ashadh Amavasya’.

Beautiful and different traditional diyas were lit up and decorated with floral design by our art teacher, Mrs. Shilpa Jadhav 

Students from std 1 to std 4 expressed their gratitude towards deep by joining hands and seeking blessings.

The school display board was decorated with various golden diyas made by our students.

The importance of this day was delivered by Mrs. Madhuri Jadhav teacher.

As we know, one lamp lights another lamps, similarly, we too should try to enlighten someone who is deprived of education due to some shortcomings.

Our school motto is…

न हि ज्ञानेन सदृशं

पवित्रमिह विद्यते।

which means ‘nothing is as pure as rendering knowledge…’. So let us educate ourselves to help educate our society and enlighten the masses… was the message given to our young minds on this day.
