PTV English Medium Primary Section organised a programme on account of Shivaji Jayanti

“Freedom is a boon, which everyone has the right to receive” were the firm thoughts of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, the founder of Maratha Empire .

Shivaji Maharaj devoted his entire life for establishing a free state. All his hardships and contributions are worthy enough of praise even today. A great leader, his glory needs to reach as far as possible. With this very aim PTVEMS Primary Section organised a programme on account of Shivaji Jayanti on 20th February, 2023 .The programme began with garlanding the photo frame of our great Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj followed by a devotional song praising his deeds. A speech briefing the children about the life of this great leader was delivered by Mrs. Madhuri Jadhav class teacher of II A.  Our State song जय जय महाराष्ट्र माझा was sung by our students along with our music teacher. All the students were shown a video(story) depicting how important Maharaj considered rules were and also how Maharaj practised what he preached.The prize winners of the Solo Singing competition were felicitated. They received their certificates.The NGO R society R responsibility  conducted EcoBricks activity under which they constructed a creative and beautiful fort which was put up for display making use of the eco-bricks made by the students.The display board was decorated with beautiful pictures. Students left the school with their hearts filled with love for our great leader.
