PTVEMS Primary section students observe Martyr`s Day
जे देशासाठी लढले ,
ते अमर *हुतात्मे* झाले !
सोडिले सर्व घरदार , त्यागिला सुखी संसार
ज्योतीसम जीवन जगले ते देशासाठी लढले !
Countless years of hardships, limitless hours of struggles led to the Independence of India cost of which we lost many brave sons of our motherland .On 30th January ,1948 *बापू* – the father of our nation was assassinated and that is the very reason why we observe Martyrs’ Day every year on this day.
PTVEMS Primary section aims to spread awareness among our children about all such heroic fighters and important days dedicated for their contribution and so a speech informing the students about the significance of the day was delivered by Mrs .Monali Mahajan class tr of 1st A , prior to which our HM Mrs. Kalpana Kalekar ma’am garlanded the photo frame of Mahatma Gandhi. Two minutes of silence was observed by all the students as a tribute to our freedom fighters.
The display board was decorated with symbolic pictures and articles. Few students from std 4th who were dressed up as soldiers and freedom fighters visited every classroom.
