The birth anniversaries of Mahatma Gandhiji and Lal Bahadur Shastriji

*Gandhi Jayanti celebration* PTVEMS Primary Section celebrated the birth anniversaries of Mahatma Gandhiji and Lal Bahadur Shastriji on 3rd October, 2023 .

The programme comprised of our Headmistress Mrs.Kalpana Kalekar ma’am  and Supervisor Mrs Sunita Bhagwat ma’am garlanding the photoframes of these two great sons of our motherland .

The students were given an insight into what or how these two great leaders were as students in the earlier phase of their lives. They were also told about the contribution of these two great men in and why do we still remember them on their birth anniversaries. Students understood about the importance of this day through the speech delivered by Ms.Devangi Wadke.The display boards were decorated with the activities like

Outline Tracing and Colouring, Charkha making, Collage making and Poster making made by the students of std 1st to 4th.

Class teachers also decorated  their respective classrooms with these activities.

The programme concluded with the prize distribution of the winners of Shloka recitation competition which was conducted on the Ganesh festival.The prize winners were felicitated with certificates, cash prize and gifts as a token of appreciation.
