A Saturday morning with my SUPER HEROS..
PTV EMS PRI school holds Paalak Shaalaa for fathers.‘बाबांची शाळा’….the topic for discussion being….MY DAD, MY SUPER HERO…The speaker Aarti Savur Madam (CEO-Parisar Asha) conducted an interactive session in which she engaged the young and enthusiastic fathers in various games and activities. Through these she made them realize their roles in the lives of their children. The attendance was HOUSE FULL….and not a single father left the hall till the end of the session.
Encouraging every Papa, बाबा, Daddy to become engaged in their child’s school is not simply about equality or adapting to new realities. When fathers are involved in the lives of their children, especially their education, children learn more, perform better in school, exhibit healthier behaviour and can have a lasting and positive impact on their lives.”
More frequent father engagement in a child’s literacy and education results in higher achievement levels in reading and math for the child.
Hopefully, a day will come where the attendance of fathers at their child’s school activities and volunteering at their schools will be the standard scenario in all educational institutions.
