Letter from Shobha Bijoor Madam
Mrs. Swapna Trailokya joined Parle Tilak Vidyalaya English Medium School in June 1984 as an Asst. Teacher. She had just finished her B.Ed. before joining the school.
She was a young enthusiastic teacher who was a multi- talented person. She was a good teacher, no doubt, but besides she was an artist, a dancer and good at acting too. She used to be bubbling with enthusiasm in all the school activities.
Children loved her teaching, so she was a favourite teacher of all the children. During our annual functions she used to choreograph dance ,dramas which were no less than the dances choreographed by professionals. Whenever we had to display any projects, she used to be full of innovative ideas.
She was appointed as a supervisor of Primary section in August 2008. During her tenure as Supervisor, she was a source of inspiration to all the teachers who were junior to her. She worked as a supervisor till 30th June 2013 and was appointed as the Head Mistress from July 1st 2013.
This was a turning point in her career as she was able to put all her innovative ideas into practice. She started different clubs for children, to give an opportunity to all the children to try their hand at various activities. All the teachers get an opportunity to work as per their interests and talents. So they get a sense of fulfilment. She involves each and every teacher in various activities without their feeling that they are burdened with extra work, on the other hand they all get a feeling of belongingness.
She makes sure that the involvement of parents is also there in all the school activities as teachers and parents together can strive to bring about the best in each child. Thus the P.T.A. is also active in the school. Mrs. Trailokya not only has maintained good relations with the parents but also with the Management.
I can say that she is a true leader, who will take our school to great heights. She is an asset to our school. I wish her all the best for a very bright future.
