नाही त्रिभुवनी ऐसा सोहळा ll
PTVEMS, Primary Section with great devotion celebrated ‘Aashadhi Ekadashi ‘ on 16th July in the school hall.
The magic of celebration began with enchanting the name of ‘Lord Vitthala.’ ‘Vitthal Vitthal’….. which left the audience spellbound. Children dressed up as ‘Warkaris’ added to the feeling of spirituality.
Mrs Monali Baviskar tr. gave a speech to explain the children the importance of this auspicious day and made children aware of our tradition and greatness of saints who gave the importance of social equality and tried to inculcate moral values.
As part of our tradition and to express gratitude towards Lord Vitthala an arti was conducted, the students enthusiasticlly participated in it which filled the atmosphere with divine positivity and gaiety.
Master Arnesh Khare from grade 4C provided information from Varkari Sampradaya as why Vitthala is called as ‘Mauli’ and enlighted all with the story of Pundalik and Vitthala explaining the reason of why Lord Vitthal is standing on the brick for last 28 yugas.
The performances of the day included a choir of singers presenting fascinating songs and abhangas alongwith a mesmerizing dance performance on ‘Mauli Mauli’ song which depicted the tradition of of ‘Pandharpur Yatra ‘ Dindi, Phugadi , Lezim, Pataka, Cymbals and girls with basil plant.
To commemorate the day in relevance to ‘Pandharpur Yatra’ a ‘Dindi Sohala ‘ was organised guiding the students accordingly experiencing the religious ecstatic procession.
पुढल्या वर्षी पुन्हा साजरा करू विठू नामाचा सोहळा
तो वर फक्त असाच पाठीशी उभा रहा ..
