PTVEMS, Primary Section commemorated Savitribai Phule’s Jayanti on 3rd January, 2024 by paying tribute to the pioneering social reformer. Our Head Mistress Mrs. Kalpana Kalekar madam and Supervisor Mrs. Sunita Bhagwat madam showed honour by garlanding the photoframe of Savitribai Phule, India’s first female teacher. 

Mrs. Priyanka Kulkarni threw light on Savitribai Phule’s legacy and how she broke traditional stereotypes in the19th century, dedicated her life to advocating for women’s education and fighting against caste discrimination through her speech. 

The school’s display board was decorated with pictures and slogans of Savitribai Phule.
