This event aimed to promote cultural diversity and foster a spirit of unity among different states of India. The theme of the event focused on showcasing the vibrant culture of Uttar Pradesh (UP), which is known for its rich traditions, festivals, food, and history.
The event began with an insightful session where children were introduced to the traditional attire of Uttar Pradesh. The students learnt about the distinctive clothes worn by people from different regions of the state. The presentation highlighted the traditional wear for both men and women, such as the chikan work saris and kurtas for women, and kurta-pajamas for men. This enriched the students’ understanding of the rich cultural heritage and customs of Uttar Pradesh.
To further enhance their knowledge, a captivating video was shown, narrating the fascinating history of Uttar Pradesh.
