INDEPENDENCE DAY 2024

Colours of courage, bold and free ,

Our Indian tricolour waves for all to see , 

A story of valour, pride so grand,

Unites our hearts across the land. 

As India geared up for its 78th Independence Day we too celebrated this day with great enthusiasm at PTVEMS Primary section.

The programme began with prayers followed by the Flag salutation command given by our PT teacher Mrs Agnes Shastri followed by our National Anthem and the State song.

Mrs. Urmila Bhende teacher then expressed her thoughts on this occasion by giving a short speech.

Our Headmistress Kalpana Kalekar Madam greeted the students for this special occasion after which a melodious and soulful group song

 ‘Aaj Tiranga Laharaya’  sung by our musical champs from  std 3rd and 4th which was directed by our Music teacher Mrs. Monali Ambekar .

After the song the prize winners of the inter-house Drawing competition conducted on 8th August 2024 on the occasion of Independence Day were announced.

‘PTVA’S DARPAN’ newsletter had organised summer quiz competition and Diary writing competition. Our Headmistress gave away the trophies to the prize winners.

Our very creative drawing teacher Mrs. Shilpa Jadhav had beautifully decorated the display boards along with the drawings of the prize winners.

As a part of the Har Ghar Tiranga initiative by our Honourable Prime Minister all our parents, teachers and students posted their selfies.  Photo collage were made standard and division wise.

Sweets were distributed amongst the children before they left for home with their hearts filled with pride and love for their country.
