Remarkable Achievement

Nevaan Naik, student of Class II Parle Tilak Vidhyalaya – English Medium School, Vile Parle East, has been associated with International Wildlife Project led by Dr. Mahesh Sanzgiri since January 2023.

As a part of the project he has been involved in various activities such as visiting wildlife sanctuaries, bird counting, forest cleanup, participating in exhibitions, online and offline conferences/gatherings/webinars and preparing reports thereof.

His online presentation on “Sparrow” held in February 2023 by the International Rewild Institute, Europe, won him the first prize for the best presentation in Group I category.

His poster of “Butterfly” submitted during “Butterfly Festival” at “Maharashtra Nature Park(Mahim)” arranged by Vivan Unearthed Foundation on April 2023, has been selected as best Poster among Primary School submission and put on “Facebook of Vivan Unearthed Foundation.”.

He received a certificate of participation for participating in clean up of Mumbai’s Sanjay Gandhi National Park’s core area by BNHS on 3rd March 2024.

All of this has helped not only bring in awareness and knowledge about nature, but also ways to nurture and conserve nature.
