PTVEMS , Primary Section celebrated Shiv Jayanti , the birth anniversary of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj on 20th February, 2025 . 

The celebrations began with our Headmistress Mrs.Kalpana Kalekar ma’am along with our Supervisor Mrs.Sunita Bhagwat ma’am garlanding the photoframe of Shivaji Maharaj followed by which the students of std 3rd and 4th sang an Aarti on Shivaji Maharaj.

Mrs. Neha Jadhav teacher gave an informative speech briefing the students about the significance of the day. 

Miss. Mauli Natu from l-C sang a Powada narrating the major life events of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Master Vedant Phadke and Miss Riyana Sarangdhar from IV-C class also sang songs depicting the life story of Shivaji Maharaj . 

The prize-winners of Solo Singing competition which was organised on account of Shiv Jayanti were felicitated by our Headmistress Mrs. Kalpana Kalekar.

The programme concluded with a procession taken out in all the 16 divisions where a few students from Std 1 to 4 were dressed up as Shahaji Raje, Jijabai, Shivaji Maharaj , Mavlas and other villagers. Master Arjun Dalvi from I-C gave a call (हाक) before the procession began for Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s entry.
